One Little Word

Each year i choose a word to follow me through the year. Some years it has been a word that has really worked for me and created changes, other years I sort of come up with the word and work with it for a few months and then it is gone!

Last years word was project...and although I really did alot of "projects" this year...I never really documented them here, and I didn't keep track of things.

Other years word...Peace, Create, Possibilities, Healthy (remember THAT one?  sort of a disaster...read about it here:  http://dancinglydenise.typepad.com/a_day_in_my_life/2011/12/one-little-word.html

So, what shall I do for this year?  I am choosing a very direct word, with a great deal of meaning in my life right now:

SIMPLIFY

How "easy" is that?  Every year I say I am going to simplify things in my life...I start...I don't wuite get there.  My goal is to put some processes in place that will nuture a more simple life.  Not gonna go live off the grid or anything, I just want a bit more peace and harmony in this ole house of mine!

I did it a couple of years ago and it really kept me a bit more focused on this word.

SIMPLIFY:

I tend to do the very opposite of SIMPLIFY...I COMPLICATE!  2013 is going to find some simplifying, both physically (household), Health, financially...

Simplify is a good word.... and you are right I think I will get to remind you often of it when you are over analyzing things...Or when you are making more of something then it should be.... Hmmmm this could be fun.
So glad I don't have a word..... but I bet you have one you would like to call me right now...lol

My word for the new year is gonna be SELL!!!!
